The Will of Kratos (Note: This style is Medical-Ninja exclusive.)


Breakdown and History:
Kratos: Spirit of strength, might, power and sovereign rule. He and his siblings, Nike (Victory), Bia (Force) and Zelos (Rivalry), were the winged enforcers of Zeus, angel-like beings who stood in constant attendance of the heavenly throne. It is said that Kratos' strength would humble even Hercules himself! Despite how powerful Kratos was he lacked two extremely important things: friendship and pity. He befriended no-one, including his siblings, and only lived to serve his leader. No matter where he was sent or what he was sent to do he would do it without fail and without thinking twice. He had no mind of his own; his mind was his masters, Zeus. Despite his unyielding devotion to his master it eventually lead to his demise...

This sad story has been passed down among people for generations, particularly those in the medical field. This story shows that pure will and determination will not get you anywhere, you need friends along with love to be able to achieve true greatness. This is the basis for the hidden fighting style exclusive to Medical-Nin entitled 'The Will of Kratos'. It is unknown who first created this style but he obviously took the words of Kratos' story to heart. This person, whoever he was, was somehow able to attain Kratos' unyielding strength via chakra control.

For years the thought of a Medical-Nin on the battle field brought laughter. While they had some offensive jutsus they were usually annihilated by more offense focused nin. Even the Medics themselves began to doubt their prowess in a fight and usually just sat on the sidelines to patch up their comrades after the battle. One particular Medic would not stand for this, however. He knew that Medical-Ninja were more than just simple 'healers'. They were special, they were unique and they were... powerful. But unlocking this power... that was the problem. It is said that this young man went into seclusion and spent years trying to unlock the key power within Medics until he somehow found word of Kratos' story. Strength... God-like strength. The moment he read those words he was instantly struck with inspiration; as if some heavenly force had planted the ideas within his mind.

The ideas were grand, if not a bit crazy, but for some reason he believed in them. Believed that the key to unlocking the strength of Medics lied in their most basic skill - chakra control. What would happen if you were to precisely build up chakra within your fist then release it upon impact with something? The answer was unknown at the time but something, some force guided this person and urged him to try. So after meditating for a week straight on the matter the man finally made his way to a rather tall tree and decided to test his theory. Using chakra control that only a Medic could attain, he gathered his chakra into his fist and struck the tree - releasing it upon impact. The results were... unnatural. He had completely blown the tree in two, leaving nothing but a tree stump in his wake.

It was then that the man entered a state of enlightement and all things became clear to him. This was it... this was truly the hidden power within Medics. The man began to experiment with his new found power and came up with various techniques, recording all of his findings on a single scroll. He spent years perfecting this style and finally managed to finish after becoming a withered old man. But through his wisdom he also noted that not every Medical-Nin would be able to learn this style. To be able to perform his techniques one would need superior chakra control even among other Medics. Only those with extreme potential and who're willing to work hard will be able to learn these techniques - and even then it will be difficult to attain. After he had completely finished the first scroll the man felt that his life was drawing to a close; deciding that one scroll was simply not enough he made ten, one for each elite village. He also inscribed each scroll with a special summoning tag that would only make it appear before the most worthy of people.

It is unknown just how the scrolls appeared within the villages' archives, but so far only ten Medical-Nin have been worthy. One for each village, infact. It is up to them to decide just who they wish to train but due to the intense training that is required the Deity can only have two students at once.

Training: This type of training is exclusive to Medical-Nin.
• Phase 1: To even begin learning the techniques within this style you have to have absolute perfect chakra control. It is recommended that you get as close to this as possible before even beginning the most basic training. The simplest way to go about it is the "control & release" method. For two hours every day you should devote yourself to gathering chakra into your fists and punching at the wind, releasing the stored up chakra upon 'impact'. Not only will this keep your chakra control in perfect form, but it will also help with Medical Jutsus. The better your chakra control the faster you can perform medical techniques.

• Phase 2: Once you have perfected your chakra control you now need to focus on just how much chakra you build up and release. If you exert too much chakra you run the risk of draining yourself too quickly. However, if you are precise about your actions you will store plenty of chakra. In this step of training you also learn how to gather and sustain chakra within your fists in order to use your strength not only for strikes but also for lifting and moving heavy objects.

• Phase 3: It is at this stage that, combined with what you've already learned, you begin the basics of unarmed combat. With this you learn the key to being a great Medic on the battle field - evasion. You cannot defend your team if you're dead. With excellent evasion the Medic not only becomes a great distraction to the opponent, but also a great offensive force. This training also teaches the Medics the importance of analyzing their opponents to ensure an even higher rate of survival for both them and their teams. Despite all of this one should always remember that you are a support class first, fighter second.

Rankings:
• Brawler: The first rank within the esteemed fighting style. This is the entry level where the Medic learns basic chakra control and the simplest techniques. It is also here that the Medic begins to truly develop their super strength and learn the basics of how to use it. (All know D-Rank techniques. Lifting strength is 5 tons.)
• Champion: At this level the Medic begins to learn the importance of evasion, analytical skill and how to appropriately use their Medical Jutsu while in the midst of battle. It is also at this time that they learn how to use their super strength in more creative and destructive ways. (Knows all C - B rank techniques. Lifting strength is 50 tons.)
• Deity: The final level of the fighting style. It is here that the Medical-Nin learns the most devestating techniques and how to focus their chakra into basicly any area of their body, transforming themselves into a walking weapon. (Knows all A techniques. Lifting strength is 100+ tons. )

Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: Gathering a good amount of Chakra into either index finger, the Medical-Nin is able to slam their finger into the earth below them and create a five foot wide, twelve foot long and ten feet deep fissure. This is used to disrupt attacks that come at the Medic from head on. It could also be used as cover when there is no other way to evade.
Special: None
Drawback: None
Description: Standing with the legs shoulder length apart, the Medic briefly gathers chakra into their index finger before leaning forward and slamming their finger into the ground causing a fissure to occur.
Limit: Must be atleast Brawler level.

• Jab
Rank: D
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: A simple chakra filled punch. Fairly quick but lacks some of the raw, destructive power of higher techniques. This is mainly used when the Medical-Nin does not have the space to wind up a fully powered strike. Can disorient some foes and usually sends them hurdling backwards.
Special: None
Drawback: None
Description: Looks exactly like a normal punch, only filled with a quick burst of chakra. Still much more powerful than a normal punch, but realitively weak when compared to the rest of the techniques within the fighting style.
Limit: Must be atleast Brawler level.

• Punch
Rank: D
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: An upgraded version of Jab. Although this technique is slower than Jab, the difference in power between the two is immense. The user gathers a great amount of chakra into their fists and then releases it upon their opponent.
Special: None
Drawback: None
Description: Similar to Jab only with a slower wind up and much more destructive power. This is an attack that can cause some serious damage to an opponent.
Limit: Must be atleast Brawler level.

• Finger Flick
Rank: D
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: By gathering chakra into either middle finger, the user then "flicks" their opponent in the forehead which causes them to soar backwards.
Special: None
Drawback: None
Description: This technique is mainly used to get some distance between the user and their opponent. The user simply flicks their opponents forehead and sends them flying backwards for about fifteen feet at high speeds. Attack causes moderate damage and would most likely just give the opponent a slight disoriented feeling.
Limit: Must be atleast Brawler level.

C-Rank
• Haymaker
Rank: C
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: An overhead two fisted strike, this devastating attack usually knocks an opponent down into the ground, creating a crator with the opponents body.
Special: None
Drawback: Very slow due to the wind up but comes down rather quickly.
Description: Gathering chakra into both of the users fists, the user strikes down with both simultaniously in order to severely damage the opponent.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all D-ranked techniques.

• Hand Clap
Rank: C
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: You bring your hands together with such force, that you create a shockwave. This shockwave will knockback most struck by it. This attack may also disorintate those hit by it due to the shockwaves effect on the inner ear.
Special: None
Drawback: Causes no damage. Mainly used as a defensive measure and to disrupt thrown projectiles.
Description: After gathering sufficent chakra within ones hands, you spread your arms far apart then slam them together, causing a wide shockwave to spread out from infront of you. The wave is fifteen feet wide and reaches out twenty feet ahead of you.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all D-ranked techniques.

• Hurl
Rank: C
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: You rip up a piece of the ground at your feet and throw it at your opponent. The amount of chakra you use dictates just how much of the ground you are able to pick up. IE: You can pick up a small, shoe sized amount or you can rip out enough that it is the size of a car.
Special: None
Drawback: The larger the amount you wish to pick up is the more time and chakra is required. ( Ripping up a 100 pound piece of ground would require around five seconds and a moderate amount of chakra.)
Description: By focusing chakra into the hands you are able to bend over and rip up some of the ground below you then hurl it at your opponents. Is also extremely useful against flying opponents.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all D-ranked techniques.

• Death Valley Bomb
Rank: C
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: The Medic grabs their opponent then lifts them over their shoulders. Using their super strength to hold them in place, they then fall in the direction that the opponent's head is facing, driving the opponent's head into the ground with devestating force.
Special: None
Drawback: Must actually catch and grab their opponent. Usually used once the opponent has been tired out and cannot sufficiently fight back. A very, very slow technique as the user must concentrate their chakra to not only keep their opponent in place, but to also drive them down into the ground with maximum force.
Description: Grabbing their opponent, the user then lifts them up over their shoulders and forcefully falls in the direction of the opponents head, driving them head first into the ground with a massive force. Extremely slow yet extremely damaging if correctly applied.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all D-ranked techniques.

• Tsutenkyaku (Painful Sky Leg)

Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: Basicly a simple kick down from the air where the Medic uses their insane strength to create a large crater.
Special: None
Drawback: None
Description: Jumping about fifteen feet into the air, the Medical-Nin raises their leg high into the air while gathering a grand amount of chakra into it. Then with stunning force they slam their leg into the ground, leaving a twenty foot wide and five foot deep crater in their wake.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all D-ranked techniques.

• Knockout Blow
Rank: B
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: This extremely powerful attack focuses all your strength into a single fisted punch. This attack hits with such force that it guarantees the opponent will be knocked and have severe internal and external damage if struck.
Special: None
Drawback: Takes about five seconds to gather chakra into the fist before striking.
Description: The user slowly rotates their lower arm as they gather an obscene amount of chakra into one fist. So much chakra, infact, that its actually visible! A transparant blue orb that resembles fire radiates around three inches from the hand. After winding up their attack for about five seconds, they suddenly strike their opponent, fist moving extremely swiftly and causing catastrophic damage. The user attacks with such a force that it usually damages the land within a 30 foot radius of the user.
Limit: Can only be used three times in each battle. Must be atleast Champion level and know all C-rank techniques.

• Foot Stomp
Rank: B
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: You direct all your strength into a mighty stomp of your foot, sending waves of rock and debris into the air all around you. This is mainly used to disrupt attacks from all angles while allowing the Medical-Nin to escape. It can also be used to distract an opponent.
Special: None
Drawback: None, mainly a defensive technique.
Description: After gathering a good amount of chakra into ones foot, you then slam it down to the ground and cause all of the terrain within a fifteen foot radius to fly high into the air and surround you, forming a temporary barrier of protection against normal types of attack. (Some Taijutsu, Kuneai, etc.) It is not just a poor mans barrier, however. It can also be used to distract your opponent in order to get away or to enable a surprise attack.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all C-rank techniques.

• Rage
Rank: B
Skill: Medical Ninjutsu
Effect: You fire a focused burst of chakra directly into the brain which triggers an unyielding rage within you. Using this emotion you double your already super strength for a short amount of time. (Two posts.) While raging you'll find it harder to think and will rely more on brute strength than actual skill.
Special: Seals: Ox, Dragon, Horse, Ram, Boar.
Drawback: Once the time limit has been exceeded you return to your normal self and strength level.
Description: The only thing that changes is the look upon the users face. Many times they will look primal and feral.
Limit: Can only be used twice each battle. Must be atleast Champion level and know all C-rank techniques.

• Rolling Thunder
Rank: B
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: By focusing and sustaining chakra in your hands, you reach down and grab the ground beneath you. Using your immense strength, you then forcefully rip the ground upwards and cause a ripple effect of terrain to sail towards your opponent at high speeds.
Special: None
Drawback: Can only be fired in the direction the user is facing.
Description: The user bends over and forcefully plunges their hands into the ground. The user then firmly grips the terrain with both hands and once they are ready they violently lift the ground upwards, sending a wave of terrain towards their opponent. It looks similar to a tidal wave, only with rock and soil. The range of this attack is fifteen feet and the height is ten.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all C-rank techniques.

A-Rank
• Fist of Nirvana
Rank: A
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: The user focuses chakra into their legs then uses it to jump extremely high into the air. While ascending the user begins to gather the maximum amount of chakra into their right fist. Once gathered, the user uses their momentum to shift in mid air and begins a dive bomb upon their opponent. As they descend they focus some chakra into their feet in order to propel them forward at an even faster rate. Once the fist connects with the ground or opponent it's as if a bomb is set off and a massive explosion ensues.
Special: None
Drawback: This jutsu, while extremely powerful, also harms the user. While they will not take brunt of the attack they will indeed take a good portion of it which can pretty much end the battle for the user depending on their level of skill in the medical area. Since this attack costs a great amount of chakra it is recommended to only use it in the most desperate of situations.
Description: While the user descends upon the target it looks as though their entire body is engulfed in a holy flame. It is even said that Zeus himself can be seen from within the flame, attacking with the same motion as the user. Truly an awe inspiring yet frightful sight...
Limit: Can only be used once every three battles. Must know all B-rank techniques.

• Judgement Day
Rank: A
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: After clasping your hands together you summon the maximum amount of chakra into both of your fists. With a mighty war cry you strike the ground and cause a tremor!
Special: None
Drawback: This attack is mainly used to change the fighting landscape and/or to intimidate your opponent. It will very rarely cause harm to another Ninja. (Unless they are unprepared.)
Description: This move is very similiar to Haymaker, only this time your fists are clasped together and you are striking at the ground, not the opponent. The devestating strength of this attack triggers the release of underground stress along fault lines. This release causes movement in masses of rock and resulting shock waves. In other words, an earthquake.
Limit: This attack can only be used once per battle. Changing the environment is risky buisness and the Medical-Nin must always be mindful of the consequences of their actions. Must know all B-rank techniques.

• Armor of Apollo
Rank: A
Skill: Defense
Effect: Through unrivaled chakra control, the user is able to coat their entire body with a thin layer of chakra which acts as a shield against offensive attacks.
Special: None
Drawback: Offers no resistance to Genjutsu. With each attack that hits the armor, more chakra is required to maintain it. However, if the attack is too powerful the entire shield itself will be destroyed. This is mainly used as a way to allow the Medic to fight for longer periods of time while taking less damage.
Description: An invisible, thin layer of chakra covers the user in order to offer some resistance to offensive attacks. This resistance is fairly good and will usually reduce the incoming attack to the user by 50%. With this technique a constant yet minimal supply of chakra must always be maintained. However, the more damage the user takes the more chakra it costs to sustain said shield. (IE: Shield at 100% costs 1 chakra to maintain. Shield at 50% costs 5 chakra to maintain.)
Limit: Must know all B-rank techniques. Once the shield has been broken you must wait three hours before forming it again.


S-Rank
• Invincible
Rank: S
Skill: Defense
Effect: Causes the user to, in effect, become a walking tank.
Special: Dragon, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit
Drawback: This jutsu automatically dispels "Armor of Apollo" if it is currently active. Offers no resistance to Genjutsu. Once the technique is over the users speed will be reduced by 50% for two turns.
Description: After performing the correct handseals the users entire body will suddenly be coated with an invisible yet powerful layer of chakra. This chakra causes no damage to the opponent nor does it increase the users speed or strength by any degree. What it does do is push their defense to unimaginable levels. Any offensive jutsu A-ranked and under will cause absolutely zero damage to the user and offensive S-ranked jutsu damage will be reduced by 90%. The user also becomes highly resistant to techniques that would knock them backwards or otherwise send them flying. Lasts 3 turns.
Limit: Must know all A-rank techniques. Can only be used once per fight.
